What
are free radicals and where do they come from? Free radicals are created
in airborne emissions, natural sunlight, chlorination, and other chemical
sources. Our bodies also create these free radicals in the process of
burning fat for energy. To put it in simple terms, a free radical is an
atom or molecule with an unpaired electron. Unpaired electrons cause
unstable, highly reactive atoms or molecules. Electrons that have been
paired behave in a much more stable state.
Free radicals can be explained this way: Free radicals are a very
hazardous, unnatural, and unstable state, because electrons normally come
in pairs. The odd, unpaired electron in a free radical causes it to
collide with other molecules so it can steal an electron from them, which
changes the structure of these other molecules and, in turn, causes the
new molecules to become free radicals as well. This can create a
self-perpetuating chain reaction in which the structures of millions of
molecules are altered in a matter of nanoseconds, reeking havoc with our
DNA, protein molecules, enzymes and cells.
Over time, free radicals attack the body. Many medical and scientific
researchers are convinced that free radical activity in the body, if
uncontrolled, can cause a number of health challenges and early aging
problems. According to research, this process of oxidation contributes to
the body’s aging process. It is believed that antioxidants help combat
this perpetual degenerative process by binding to free radicals and
rendering them inactive and harmless.
Free radical scavengers, also known as antioxidants, are key factors in
the defense system used to assist the body in neutralizing dangerous free
radicals. By consuming Vitamin E, Vitamin C, beta-carotene, grape seed
extract, curcumin, and pine bark extracts on a daily basis, your body is
provided with a defense mechanism that will effectively defeat free
radicals.
Because research has shown increasing effectiveness associated with
combinations of both oil and water-soluble antioxidants, Neways has
formulated Revenol™ with pharmaceutical grades of White Pine Bark, Grape
Seed Extract, Vitamin C, Beta Carotene, and Curcumin Extract, which makes
it an outstandingly pure and potent formula. Additionally, Revenol™ has
been fortified with Ginkgo Biloba and Vitamin E to support the body’s
absorption of these proven antioxidants.
Usage
Take 2 tablets twice daily for 3 days to start then take 1 tablet twice
daily to maintain.
